Christy & Scott’s Dreamy Cardiff-by-the-Sea Wedding

Christy and Scott planned the most beautiful summer wedding at Cardiff-by-the-Sea. It was right in the heart of summer, and naturally, the beaches were packed with visitors soaking up the sun. But with a little planning (and a lot of luck!), I was able to arrive early and secure the perfect spot for their ceremony.

What made it so special was how intimate and private it felt, even though we were right in the middle of a bustling beach. Surrounded by the sound of waves and their closest family and friends, the two exchanged vows in a moment that felt like it belonged entirely to them.

One of the details I love about this gallery—you’d never know just how crowded the beach really was. Through the magic of editing, the focus stays completely on Christy, Scott, and their love story. It creates the illusion of a private paradise, and it truly brings out the romantic, timeless feel of the day.

And then came the sunset. 🌅 Cardiff blessed us with one of the most breathtaking skies I’ve ever photographed. The glow, the colors, and the way the light reflected off the water made for some of my favorite images of all time. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
