Jamila and Carl reached out to me while planning their wedding in just 45 days, and somehow they managed to put together one of the most spectacular celebrations in such a short amount of time.
Every detail felt intentional, and their wedding day took us to several beautiful locations throughout Riverside for their ceremony, wedding portraits, and reception.
Wedding Portraits at Fairmount Park in Riverside
Jamila and Carl initially considered taking their wedding portraits at the Mission Inn in Riverside. After learning about the additional photography fee associated with wedding photography there, we decided to explore another option.
We chose Fairmount Park in Riverside, and it turned out beautifully.
The park gave us plenty of room to work and was less crowded, which allowed me to bring out my professional lighting and create the bright, vibrant wedding portraits that fit my photography style.
Sometimes changing the original plan leads to something even better.

Three Locations, One Beautiful Riverside Wedding
One of the unique things about Jamila and Carl's wedding was that different parts of their celebration took place at different locations.
Their ceremony was held at a church, we captured their wedding portraits at Fairmount Park, and then everyone gathered for the reception at a beautiful private home with an absolutely breathtaking backyard.
Even with multiple locations and only three hours of photography coverage, we were able to document so much of their day.
