Capturing Joy: A Sweet Family Session for a First Birthday

One of the most rewarding parts of being a photographer is getting to document life's most meaningful milestones. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Nicole, who reached out to me in anticipation of her son’s first birthday. She wanted to celebrate this special moment with a family photo session—and I was honored to be a part of it.

From the beginning, Nicole was so thoughtful and organized. She created a Pinterest board filled with inspiration and style preferences, which gave me a clear vision of what she was hoping to capture. This reference point was incredibly helpful, not only during our session but especially when it came time for the final edits.

The session itself was relaxed and full of warmth. I took time to get to know her family so everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera, and we were able to capture some truly authentic and joyful moments. I always aim to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner, and I’m proud to say Nicole received her proofs the very next day and her final edited gallery within 48 hours of our session.
