Senior year is such a meaningful milestone, and Carolina’s session was the perfect way to celebrate it.
We spent the afternoon capturing this exciting season of her life, starting at Point Loma Nazarene University and ending along the coastline at Sunset Cliffs.

Young woman in a green-and-gold sash over a white dress stands by a white column outdoors, softly smiling in bright sunlight.
Carolina was joined by her mom, which made the entire experience even more special. These sessions aren’t just about photos—they’re about capturing a moment in time for both seniors and their families.
🎓 Starting at Point Loma Nazarene
We began the session at the coliseum, where graduations are held—a location that carries so much meaning.
There’s something powerful about taking photos in a place that represents everything you’ve worked toward. The clean architecture and open space created a timeless, polished look that really highlighted Carolina and this huge accomplishment.
🌅 Ending at Sunset Cliffs
From there, we headed to Sunset Cliffs, and it was the perfect way to end the session.
The weather was beautiful, the light softened as the sun began to set, and the ocean created a calm, natural backdrop. Carolina looked confident and relaxed, and you could feel the excitement of what’s ahead in every moment we captured.
The combination of campus + beach gave her a full, well-rounded gallery that told her story from beginning to end.
🤍 A Moment Shared with Mom
Having her mom there added such a meaningful layer to the session.
Senior photos aren’t just about the graduate—they’re about the journey, the support, and the people who helped get them there. Those small in-between moments of encouragement and pride are something families truly cherish.
💡 Tips for Your Senior Photos in San Diego
Planning your own senior session? Here are a few things to keep in mind to make the experience smooth and enjoyable:
👗 Plan 1–2 Outfits
Choose one outfit that feels more casual and one that’s a bit more elevated. This gives your gallery variety without overcomplicating things.
🎨 Stick to Neutral & Timeless Colors
Soft tones like white, beige, blues, and earth tones photograph beautifully—especially at the beach. Avoid heavy patterns or logos so the focus stays on you.
🎓 Bring Your Cap & Gown
Even if you only use it for a few photos, it’s always worth having. It adds that classic graduation feel to your gallery.
🌅 Time Your Session Around Golden Hour
Lighting makes a huge difference. Sunset sessions (especially at places like Sunset Cliffs) give you that soft, glowing light that feels natural and flattering.
🌬️ Be Ready for Coastal Conditions
Beach locations can be windy, so plan outfits and hairstyles that work with movement instead of against it.
😊 You Don’t Need to Know How to Pose
This is the biggest concern for most seniors—and you don’t have to worry about it. I guide you through everything so your photos feel relaxed and natural.
👨👩👧 Bring Someone With You
Whether it’s a parent or a friend, having someone there can help you feel more comfortable and makes the experience more fun.
